This historic B&B offers three roomy suites with private baths, Jacuzzis and showers. The original 1760 barn now houses a multi-dealer Antique shop.
The 1810 House B&B’s name denotes the actual age of the B&B building itself. The attached structure which houses the owner’s portion of the complex dates to 1760 when the property was a dairy farm. Adjacent to current NH route 28 you can still see remnants of the original old road which connected Ossipee NH and Governor John Wentworth Highway to Wolfeboro. Surely the dairy farm was a landmark the King George’s Provincial Governor Wentworth knew well as he passed while traveling to town center and back to his summer residence on Smith Pond, now Lake Wentworth. The 1810 House B&B property still includes its historic 1760 Dairy Barn which was extended an additional 30 feet in the 1800’s to its current 110’ length. As one of the oldest barns in NH, this antique barn brings pleasure to all who enter not only to enjoy its post and beam construction but also to meander through the booths of antiques offered up to all who enter for purchase. ..
